Wiper Party leader HE Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka attended worship at AIC Kasina in Mlolongo, Machakos County, on Sunday. He emphasized the importance of faith and resilience for Kenya’s young generation. He was accompanied by DAP-K Party Leader Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, Makueni Woman Representative Hon. Rose Museo, and lawyer Wakili Ndegwa Njiru.

While addressing the congregation, Dr. Musyoka spoke about the canonization of Carlo Acutis by the Catholic Church earlier that day. Acutis, who died at the age of 15, is recognized worldwide as “God’s Influencer” and “the Patron Saint of the Internet.”

“Carlo changed the course of faith for his generation,” Dr. Musyoka said. “His story reminds us that courage, even in youth, can alter history. Here in Kenya, our millennials are doing the same. The journey of change and accountability began here in Mlolongo with the sacrifice of Rex Masai, who stood up for his constitutional rights.”

Dr. Musyoka’s message focused on inspiration. He also expressed concern about security issues in Mandera. He criticized what he called the “Mandera Occupation” and questioned the government’s response. “This is not simply a policing issue. Defence should have taken charge, and the President should have spoken directly to Kenyans. Mandera is Kenya.”

The day’s reflections highlighted Dr. Musyoka’s dual call: for the youth to embrace faith and courage in shaping Kenya’s future and for national leaders to protect the country’s sovereignty with responsibility and clarity.
