A church in Mexico has garnered attention for its unique proposition, the sale of land in heaven.
Entoms Church, under the leadership of a pastor who asserts he has received divine authorization, is marketing celestial properties at a rate of $100 per square meter.
Visuals of this offer have circulated extensively on social media, featuring a brochure that presents a detailed illustration of a divine residence among the clouds.
This illustration depicts a family ascending a golden staircase towards their new heavenly dwelling.
The brochure indicates that the church accommodates various payment options, including PayPal, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and American Express, along with flexible payment plans.
“A Christian Church is trending online after they announced that they’re selling plots of land in heaven for $100 per square metre
“The pastor says he spoke to God and he was granted permission to do this. They have already collected thousands of dollars,” My Mixtapez wrote on X.
Elsewhere, in 2018, a Zimbabwean pastor was arrested by the police authority for financial crime.
According to the police, Pastor Tito Wats told thousands of people that it was Jesus who appeared to him, then gave him tickets to people for $500 especially sinners so that they could also enter heaven.
“I don’t care what people or the police are saying about me, I am being persecuted because of doing the work of God
“Jesus Christ appeared to me and gave me the tickets made of pure gold so that I can sell to people who want salvation”, said the pastor.
Following his arrest, thousands of people protested the pastor’s arrest and called on the police to release him immediately as they are using their own money to buy salvation.
