TikTok star and entrepreneur Njoki Murira has responded to reports that her explicit photos and videos have been circulated online.
The content creator responded to the allegations in a post on Instagram, claiming that they are baseless.
This comes even as the alleged videos continue to go viral on platforms such as Telegram and X where users are allowed to share p*rn videos.
“It has come to my attention that there are pictures and videos circulating online purportedly showing me in challenging situations. I want to assure you that these images and videos are not of me. This is false information,” she wrote in part.
Murira noted that she was mistaken for someone else, and after some research, it was determined that the person she was confused for is another girl.
She was able to obtain her social media handles, which she shared with the public, encouraging them to follow her and confirm for themselves.
“After thorough investigation, I discovered that the individual in the videos is someone else. Her name is Sameeha, and her Twitter handle is @sameeha10162. I encourage you to verify this information for yourselves,” she added.
Murira concluded her statement by apologizing to the public for any uncertainty she may have created, additionally thanking her supporters for their unwavering support.
“I sincerely apologize for any distress or confusion this may have caused. Your support means the world to me, and I am committed to maintaining your respect,” she said.
