Willis Raburu reveals why he took a break from the popular Wabebe Show on TV47

TV47’s Wabebe Experience show, spearheaded by Director for Digital Services and Innovations Willis Raburu, has announced a temporary hiatus, marking a seasonal break from its regular programming.

In a statement released on Friday, April 6, Raburu conveyed that the decision to pause the show was strategic, emphasizing that it was made with the viewers’ best interests in mind.

aburu expressed gratitude to the audience for their unwavering support and enthusiasm throughout the show’s run.

He specifically acknowledged the contributions of his team, including co-host Franklin Mark Gogo, alias MC Gogo, for their dedication and commitment.

Assuring fans of the show, Raburu revealed that efforts were underway behind the scenes to prepare for the next season. He hinted at exciting developments, promising that the upcoming season would be “bigger and better” than ever before.

Although a specific return date was not provided, Raburu assured viewers that updates would be communicated in due course.

“Rest assured, we are working diligently behind the scenes to come back bigger and better than ever! Stay tuned for updates on our return! We love you and appreciate you so much,” he stated.

Raburu began the Wabebe Experience show on TV47 after leaving Citizen TV of Royal Media Services (RMS) in August 2023.

He used to host the 10 over 10 show at the Kilimani-based media house station before his switch to TV47. Raburu served at RMS for slightly over 13 years.
