Taking to her Facebook page, Naomi shared a heartfelt tale, emphasizing the importance of trusting service providers, particularly in the realm of her business endeavors.
She began her narrative by recounting a trying experience involving flight delays due to severe weather conditions in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“Yesterday when I was so frustrated by my flight delays due to severe weather in Fort Lauderdale Florida; I booked a tour for Monday. I always purchase WIFI whenever I fly to ensure I’m connected to my business,” Naomi who owns a personalised tour firm in New York expressed.
Despite the challenges she faced, a ray of positivity emerged when a client, whom Naomi had never met prior, exhibited an extraordinary display of trust and support.
“This client from yesterday paid her invoice very early today at 6 am, but I was deeply asleep since I got home like 1:00 am last night!” Naomi exclaimed.
The client’s gesture went beyond mere payment; she had opted to pay for a one-day tour in advance, along with a generous tip, showcasing unwavering faith in Naomi’s business.
Overwhelmed by this unexpected act of kindness and trust, Naomi reflected on the significance of such gestures.
“Guys, this is a person I have never met or even interacted with prior to her booking BUT she has FAITH IN MY BUSINESS,” Naomi remarked.
The gesture not only touched Naomi’s heart but also highlighted the power of word-of-mouth referrals and the support within the Kenyan community abroad.
“My heart is so melted by this. That someone pays a 10-hour tour plus NY taxes plus a good tip. And we haven’t met, meaning she had heard about us and how great our services are. I also see a Kenyan supporting another Kenyan in the USA!” Naomi exclaimed.
