Uhuru orders schools to accept food for fees

Schools in arid and semi-arid areas have been ordered to accept food in exchange for school fees.

The order was made by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday.

The president also ordered the schools in these areas to resume school feeding programs in a bid to keep learners at school.
