According to a statement sent to newsrooms from State House, the Head of State assured the leaders that his administration would work with leaders from all parts of the country, regardless of their political affiliation.
The president also reiterated his commitment to serve all Kenyans fairly and equitably.
“Kenyans deserve to be served without reservation by the Government,” he said.
The leaders are said to have discussed the status of government programmes and projects underway in the region.
Leaders present included MPs Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Tom Ojienda (Kisumu ), Caroli Omondi (Suba South ), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Paul Abuor (Rongo) and Felix Odiwuor (Lang’ata).
Others were ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo and PS Interior Raymond Omolo
