Recent reports have emerged regarding Siaya Governor James Orengo and his alleged involvement with a woman named Ruth Mueni, a former State House staff member.
According to unverified reports, Orengo’s wives, Betty Murungi and Rhoda Orengo, have expressed their concerns about his relationship with Ruth Mueni.
Allegedly, they claim that he is providing Mueni with preferential treatment, causing tension within the family.
Additionally, it is said that Orengo’s rise to the position of Governor has negatively impacted his morals, as claimed by his wives.
One aspect of the rumors suggests that Orengo has rented a luxurious apartment for Ruth Mueni at the Oyster Bay apartments in Kilimani, Nairobi.
The reports further state that the monthly rent for this apartment amounts to Sh 280,000.
The alleged relationship between Orengo and Mueni is said to have begun during the campaign period.
Mueni supposedly enjoyed certain privileges, such as stays at the Ciala Resort and having a helicopter at her disposal for errands.
Another aspect of the rumors involves Mueni conceiving a child last year.
It is claimed that she was admitted to the Nairobi Hospital’s North Wing, the most expensive wing, for the delivery.
Sources state that Orengo contributed significant sums of money for her medical expenses.
