Jacob “Ghost” Mulee, a well-known coach in Kenyan football, has returned to the coaching scene after being appointed as the head coach of Gaspo Women in the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL).’
Mulee, who previously coached Tusker, APR of Rwanda, and Yanga of Tanzania, will take over from James Ombeng, who has been acting as the head coach since February.
Gaspo chairman Edward Githua confirmed the appointment and praised Mulee’s experience, which he believes will guide the team to success.
Gaspo Women are currently at the top of the KWPL table with 31 points, the same as Vihiga Queens, but with a superior goal difference.

The club is in the title race, and Githua believes that Mulee’s arrival could help them make history by winning the title this season. According to Githua, the camp is “motivated and recharged” for the challenge ahead.
Mulee’s appointment has been met with excitement and anticipation from football fans in Kenya, who are eager to see what he can do with the team. His coaching record speaks for itself, having achieved great success with Tusker, APR of Rwanda, and Yanga of Tanzania.

Gaspo Women’s unbeaten run of six consecutive league games, including a 3-0 win over Kayole Starlets last weekend, has put them in a strong position to win the title this season.
However, with tough fixtures ahead, including a weekend match against Zetech Sparks, they will need to be at their best to stay on top of the table.
