Kenyan footballers Clyde Senaji and Colins Okumu are currently being assessed by Nyasa Big Bullets, one of Malawi’s top-flight football clubs, as they undergo trials with the team.
Senaji, a free agent who recently parted ways with Tusker FC, and Okumu, who previously played for Posta Rangers in the FKF Premier League and Thika United, are hoping to secure a place in the team ahead of the upcoming season.
Bullets Chief Administration Officer Albert Chigoga confirmed the arrival of the duo and stated that they are being evaluated by the head coach and his technical panel.
“They are experienced players. The head coach and his technical panel are assessing them. He should be able to make his recommendation before the team travels to Mangochi for further pre-season training.” He told the times newsaper.
Senaji has already featured in two games for his new side and received a glowing review from coach Kalisto Pasuwa following his debut against Wanderers.
Playing in central defence, Senaji put in a solid performance during the 2023 Pre-Season International Bonanza.
However, despite Senaji’s efforts, the team finished fourth in the tournament, which was won by UD Songo. It was the second time a Mozambican team had claimed the title after Nampula won the inaugural competition in 2019.
