Gender Commission lauds Kenya for increased number in elected women

    The National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC) has applauded Kenya for electing women in various positions in the just concluded general election.

    The commission noted that more women have been elected as Governors, Senators, Members of Parliament, County Woman Member to the National Assembly as well as Members of County Assembly (MCAs) as compared to the 2017 general election.
