Kenya’s Covid positivity rate at 2.5pc as 45 test positive

    Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe says 45 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 1,815 tested in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate is now at 2.5pc.

    In a statement Wednesday, Kagwe said from the cases 40 are Kenyans while 5 are foreigners. 25 are males while 20 are females. The youngest is a 12-year-old while the oldest is 71 years old.

    Total confirmed positive cases are now 337,734 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,826,417.
