Presidential ballot papers arrive amid tight security at JKIA

    Security was tightened early Wednesday at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as the first consignment of Presidential ballot papers arrived in the country.

    Officers from the Kenya Police and the General Service Unit we deployed at various strategic locations inside and around the airport. High-ranking officials from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission led by deputy chair Juliana Cherera were at hand to receive the ballots.
