The government has assured of adequate security measures to ensure a peaceful general election.
Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS), Fred Matiang’i who spoke to journalists after a meeting with regional security teams Wednesday, said he was satisfied with security preparations across the 47 counties.
With just 26 days to the August 9 poll, the CS said they were working closely with the electoral commission IEBC to secure the electoral process that is on the homestretch.
