Five times Safari rally champion Carl Tundo stamped his authority behind the wheels ,to emerge overal winner in day one of the inaugural rally cross on Saturday in Machakos county .
Tundo famously known as flash, recovered from a slow start in heat 1 where he finished 2nd behind ,Tim Jessop in the champions race to win 2nd and 3rd heats which assured him a commandable lead as he heads into to final day of event on sunday.
