2,800 acres put under irrigation in Katilu, Turkana

The government is banking on various irrigation projects to alleviate hunger in Turkana County. The irrigation projects once completed will put more than 50 thousand acres of land under irrigation. The national irrigation authority has said already more than 10 thousand acres of land are under irrigation in the expansive County.
