Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero (pictured) has promised to construct proper roads to boost sugarcane production in Ndhiwa, Rangwe and Homa Bay sub-counties.
This comes amid complaints by farmers that their sugarcane dries on farms due to dilapidated roads in Homa Bay County.
