Early this year, Tanasha Donna launched her debut EP ‘DonnaTella.’
Diamond Platnumz and Mbosso were to perform at the event. The two only came for the press conference but left the same night.
Mbosso in an interview with Sam Misago last week said that their management asked them to return to Tanzania with immediate effect.
‘I REMEMBER WE WENT TO NAIROBI, THERE WAS A SHOW WE WERE SUPPOSED TO DO AND IT DIDN’T HAPPEN. WE CAME BACK.’
‘I WAS TOLD I HAD TO GO BACK TO DAR ES SALAAM WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. THERE WERE THINGS THAT WERE NOT RIGHT. WHO AM I TO ARGUE WITH MANAGER BABU TALE, SALLAM AND MKUBWA FELLA?’
‘I WENT BACK HOME WITH MY BROTHER DIAMOND, WE WERE EVEN SEATED NEXT TO EACH OTHER. THATS WHEN I STARTED WRITING THE SCRIPT TO MY TAMBA SONG.’
Mbosso and Tanasha unfollowed each other after the event, even before Diamond and Tanasha broke up.
‘AFTER FOUR DAYS SHE CAME TO TANZANIA, I MET HER WHEN I WENT TO GREET DIAMOND. AFTER SIX DAYS SHE UNFOLLOWED ME. IF SHE UNFOLLOWED THE FATHER OF HER CHILD, WHO AM I? I UNFOLLOWED HER TOO. I DIDN’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HER.’
‘TANASHA AND I HAVE NEVER ARGUED. WE’VE ALSO NEVER SAT DOWN AND BEEN CLOSE FRIENDS THAT WE SIT DOWN AND TELL STORIES. WE ONLY MET WHEN I WAS GOING TO MY BOSS (DIAMOND) WE’D ONLY SAY HI.’
Diamond had previously said that he had an issue he was attending to that needed his presence.

Speculations had it that they left before attending the event because Tanasha was not part of WCB record label.
