K24 TV presenter Anjlee prayed to God barely 24 hours before she passed on.
The mother of two while at the Aga Khan hospital shared the prayer of St Francis Assisi on her Instagram stories.
LORD, MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT OF YOUR PEACE
WHERE THERE IS HATRED, LET ME SOW LOVE
WHERE THERE IS INJURY, PARDON
WHERE THERE IS DOUBT, FAITH
WHERE THERE IS DESPAIR, HOPE

In 2019, Anjilee did a feature story titled ‘The Cancer Lie’ and her desire was to live.
I HAD THE DESIRE TO LIVE, BUT I WAS FACED WITH TWO SCENARIOS. I HAD NO MONEY TO UNDERGO A TRANSPLANT AND DIDN’T HAVE A SUITABLE DONOR,’ SHE SAID.
She later found a donor in Mumbai and the surgery lasted for 18 hours and was declared cancer-free.
